This CLE accredited* seminar will help you answer the following issues facing most companies today:

  • Are you prepared to respond in a week to government requests for your network security policies, all communications related to your compromised systems and the specific piece of malware at issue, and all documents related to your breach response efforts?

  • Do you know whether your security team has raised warnings that no one has yet heeded (as has been alleged at Sony, Home Depot & Target)?

  • Is your most sensitive and valuable data vulnerable to theft (as happened at Sony)?

This CLE will provide you with a framework enabling you to get a handle on your information security risk, understand the ever-changing cyber risk landscape, build a cyber-incident response team, put an incident response plan in place, anticipate and mitigate downstream investigation, compliance and litigation risk, and ensure that you preserve attorney-client privilege and work product protections with respect to your legal advice, investigation and oversight activities. As each week brings news of another major breach and cyber threats continue to proliferate and evolve, it is time to take an active leadership role in your company’s cyber risk management strategy.
